Funniest thing!
When publishing this post, I just noticed that today would have been our 2nd wedding anniversary. Considering we didn't even make the first one, this date is of no meaning to me anymore. Last year I knew it was coming up for weeks. But this year, I completely forgot about it. Great, it's a step, isn't it?
Wow!
I just stumbled upon a blog of one of my old school mates. He lives an extraordinary life and blogs about it. So I happened to look at my old blog again. My last entry is more than a year old. Little did I know back then, how my life would change within the shortest time...
2 months later being left by my husband for another woman (his Kyrgyz assistant who he had been working with for years)
4 months later moving to Leipzig, where we originally had wanted to start our little family, but then only lived together as room mates (with me still having lots of hope for him to come back), bc we couldn't get out of the rental contract
6 months later giving birth to our precious daughte Lenara Marie (April 11th, 2009)
7 months later leaving Philipp for good and returning to my hometown, where I eventually started building up my new life as single Mom
And coming up: In 3 days meeting my Bishkek friends from the farewell party (see post before), who are coming to visit me in Germany for New Year's Eve.
When looking at those old posts, the only word coming to my mind is "wow"... it seems unreal to see those pictures, showing the two of us happy. He is a different person today. And I'm still in the process of trying to figure out who I am and how I want to live. It's a new life!
